Weekender Management started the way most good ideas do—from personal experience. Before managing a single property for someone else, we were short-term rental owners ourselves. We lived the late-night guest messages, the pricing guesswork, and the constant juggling that comes with running a vacation rental on top of everything else in life.

We knew there had to be a better way—because we needed it ourselves. So we built the management company we wished had existed: one that truly partners with owners, treats every property like our own, and takes the full-time job out of owning a vacation rental.

Today, we manage properties across Northwest Arkansas, Branson, and Orlando, helping owners achieve consistent returns and five-star reviews. Garrett Ham

Founder & CEO

Garrett Ham founded Weekender Management in Bentonville, Arkansas, after years of firsthand experience as both a short-term rental owner and a real estate professional. A graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Law and Yale University, Garrett began his career managing multimillion-dollar real estate leases at Walmart before serving as a JAG officer in both the Arkansas Army National Guard and the U.S. Air Force.

That combination of legal expertise, military discipline, and hands-on hosting experience shapes how Weekender operates today—data-driven, detail-oriented, and built around doing right by property owners. Garrett also teaches law and engineering as an adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas and serves as a licensed real estate broker in Arkansas, Missouri, and Florida.

Dr. Richard Ham

Chief Operating Officer

Richard brings decades of leadership in aviation, military operations, and national security to Weekender's day-to-day operations. A retired U.S. Air Force officer who served as an air traffic control and airfield operations officer, Richard went on to a distinguished career with the Department of Homeland Security where he served as a member of the Senior Executive Service.

A decorated veteran with four Meritorious Service Medals and multiple commendation awards, Richard holds a doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and brings the same precision and operational discipline to managing our property portfolio that defined his military and government service.

Michelle Ham

Chief Hospitality Officer

Michelle leads the hospitality arm of Weekender Management, ensuring every guest experience reflects the warmth and attention to detail that sets our properties apart. An Air Force veteran and former educator, Michelle brings a unique combination of service-oriented leadership and a genuine passion for making people feel at home.

Beyond her work at Weekender, Michelle has dedicated significant time to improving the lives of children in the foster care system—a commitment that reflects the same care and compassion she brings to our guests and property owners every day. You might spot her around Northwest Arkansas in the Weekender Cybertruck.
